@Lumb I am thankful for the fact that they refuse to have anything to do even with Facebook of all things 😅

@Chel
Lucky. My dad is on Facebook and I’ve been trying to get him to unfriend me by commenting embarrassingly personal things on his work associates status updates but so far to no avail.
My step mom is also on Facebook but she uses it like mastodon, all just cute animal pics and telling people they’re cute, it’s really kinda nice tbh :P

@Lumb that definitely doesn’t sound bad XD

I’m just like... self conscious af, so it would just be a little awkward for me

@Chel
That’s fair. And same. Also I’m way too tired to figure out the fine grained privacy settings over there. Not that it super matters anyway, I basically only use Facebook for talking to my roomie at this point :P

@Lumb I deleted mine, lol. Too many family members I have no connection with constantly trying to get me to friend them and I’m just like YEAH THANKS BUT NO THANKS

damn republicans, the lot of them

@Chel
Oh oof. Those ones suck. I blocked all that whole side of my family. Republicans aside, they paid me for tech support with subway gift cards which, like, that’s monstrous, and not in a good way.

@Lumb that is beautiful XD

like, most of my family is republican I think, but I haven’t seen or talked with any of them in like... over a decade? my parents aren’t really close with them either, which I am thankful for Dx
