me and my sister had to verbally fight with my parents for many years but they eventually came around fully and love me(trans, pan, poly) and my sister (gay, NB)

@Chel *hugs lots* ya, me and my sister made it 10000% clear we expect them to be apart of our lives and will continue to lovingly push them to this end goal. they eventually realized that we truely wanted them to love us for who we are and embraced it fully ^^ *giggles* only took about 20yrs, lots of yelling, breakdowns and hugs to get here :p

oof. unfortunate that things took so long to reach the point of complete acceptance and that there was so much work involved in getting them to SEE THE LIGHT so to speak…but at the end of the day, the fact that they did so is what's important
a lot of people aren't inclined to change their beliefs or opinions no matter what happens - I'm glad that they didn't end up falling into that trope
