It was just just a tiny bit awkward, and resulted in a rapid scramble to get out 😅

...which was followed by making the water too cold, and repeating it all over again with cold water.

I'm... I'm good at this. I swear.

@Chel Whew! Well, good to know. ^_^;

My favorite is having the plug slightly out of position, but only noticing when I come back into the bathroom after a couple minutes, so half the tank's already vanished down the drain. ^_^;;

(Mercifully infrequent. Long baths mean an inordinate amount to me =:)

@porsupah long baths are utter delight, to say the least.

I've been thinking about trying my hand at making bath bombs, in fact.

@Chel They're essential. ^_^; No idea why, but it's been that way since I was a leveret. Just so /relaxing/, so comfortable..

Ooo, that sounds fun.. that way, you'd be able to craft some preferred fragrances, ne? I ought to look into that.. as is, I just mostly use Radox bubble bath goops.

Something rose-centric would be heavenly.. ^_^

@porsupah My last apartment had a surprisingly luxuriant tub, so I tended to spend a lot of time in it... this place not so much as of yet, but if I had something to sweeten the deal so to speak it'd probably be a different matter entirely.

Yessss. I want all of the flowery scents.

And yes, baths have to be long in order to count for anything in my opinion

@Chel No question, if I actually owned/had a share in a place, I'd want a full-blown hot tub. ^_^ I might not have the jets on routinely, but they'd be such a wonderful option - as would be space for a guest or two. Shower intimacy doesn't work for me, but a hot tub.. *cough*

Mmm, two hours is a reasonable time; three even better. (Always at night, for me - somehow feels out of place with daylight =:)

@porsupah oh god, yes. I don't expect to ever own a home, but my partner and I have agreed that a ridiculous bath tub would very much be the first thing we'd do with it 😌

The hotel we stay in when visiting family in Portland has MASSIVE tubs, so we typically end up spending a few hours a day in them every night, and it's always an incredibly lovely experience

Speaking of, I definitely agree with you regarding showers and baths 😁

@Chel I admit, a kitchen with *lots* of workspace would come first, but the tub second and no lower. ^_^

Oo, that reminds me of the hotel I stayed in for Grillstock a few years back - a rather cool combined music & BBQ festival. Not *huge*, just comfortable, and all so /elegantly/ laid out. With nothing pressing the next day, I happily melted for a few hours..

I wonder if this is a leporine trait? I should run a survey. ^_^

@porsupah Oh goodness, yes. A large kitchen, and a large bathroom, allowing room enough for communal cooking and bathing would basically be the greatest thing on the planet

Music and BBQ? Sounds like a delightful combination... moreso with something like that to melt into afterward :3

@Chel Frustratingly, I even *had* some of that at the place a couple jobs ago - the owners had basically completely reworked the house, moving a wall or two in the process, so the kitchen had.. oh, must've been about 20' of countertop along two sides of the room. It was glorious. ^_^

Normal size bath, but.. with some underlighting. =:D And an on-demand boiler, so I could never run out of hot water. ^_^

@porsupah Oh my goodness. That sounds absolutely lovely.

Sadly my current kitchen is just as small as the bath tub, more or less, which makes cooking a bit more difficult than it might otherwise be... though I've been making due well enough thus far. I do rather miss having room to flail around wildly though 😅

And infinite hot water is just too good tbh
