so, there was this one time a few years ago when @Chel and i were cleaning up the kitchen and discovered a hidden cache of onion bulbs where one onion had grown roots and cannibalized it's siblings in order to survive in the darkness

we named her onion-chan and lovingly planted her in a pot and tried to nurse her back to health over the next year, but she didn't make it

apparently, she needed darkness and morbidity to survive

she was my kinda girl
