@Chel well, i can drink out of a flask

what the hell is a django and what can i put into it?

@scarly @Chel Srs note on this discussion tho, Ive been working in flask for a while.

I would say use flask if you want a little more power over code organization, but if you really don't wanna deal with SQL, go with django.

You probably already have some experience, but if I'm gonna shitpost I may as well try and actually contribute

@TheHottestPotato @Chel same tho! i first used flask right after it was published back in 201X whenever that was. i remember it bc the django community was Shooketh.

tbh, i always give django a chance bc i'm like "aw but those apps tho". then i spend a few moments looking at django's apps and i'm like. "no. this isn't worth it."

tbh, you're right. real talk tho - the django orm is kinda bad. it's just not performant. when i *did* use django, i ended up writing all of the SQL by hand.

@scarly

@Chel

Jesus. If that's how bad it is with Django, I'm probably never gonna give it a second chance and just keep learning flask harder.
