I made nopales today and they're really tasty but also dequilling them was so time consuming & I did such a bad job @_@;;

@deme I've never prepped or done anything with them myself, so my only experience with them thus far has been in restaurants
...but that might be something worth changing at some point

Probs worth noting they are also sold in pre-prepared & brined jars at most supermarkets, tho both @slightlyflightyone & I share a joy in making things difficult so wanted them fresh

PS I ended up sauteeing them after boiling and they are so good now it was probably worth the extra labor even if I can't find pre-trimmed/cut ones :9
