@Chel Man I miss that game sometimes.
Though, I was awful at combat stuff and just ran around towns playing this any time I saw people doing PVP stuff:
@NinTheFolf I'm okayish with the combat, but there are so many overlapping systems at this point that it's mildly overwhelming 😰
...and that is awesome! honestly the music system is a large part of what made the game for me. my partner got entirely too good at putting music into the game for nonstop freestyle jams way back when 😁
@Chel Yeaaaaah. I remember when i first started people could become white and dark knights, and there was the stupid living sword things and just. There was SO MUCH stuff and I felt like I couldn't get to any of it x.x I'm sure there's even more now, and I'm sure I'm way to weak to do any of it XD
@NinTheFolf they -just- completely
revamped (and increased the complexity of, as far as I know) the living weapons stuff around the time I quit playing a few months ago, amusingly enough. in addition to adding an entirely new technique system, on top of everything else that I'd never had the spoons to figure out despite having around 1,500 hours in the game 😅
new content is great and all, but holy carp.
@Chel Ughhhhhh.
Much as I love that game it sounds like a nightmare XD
I don't wanna fight, I just wanna play songs all day and mine for my exp ;.;
@NinTheFolf moooooood. I'd kill for a game that has musical gameplay half as fun as Mabi's. The built in mini rhythm game was basically perfect for me.
I had hope for Maplestory 2 early on, but it... just sort of half assed everything 😅
need more games with lots of music stuff
@NinTheFolf two months to go, I think?
i had high hopes for it, bluh.
@Chel same. It was a good modern take at the first game but just. The first game wasn't great either, it was just on the scene early.
It needed a lot more and they kinda fell short.
