fighting the urge to delete and rewrite. 😩

She-Ra

Ever since we finished She-Ra the other day, @Scarly has taken to randomly channeling Seahawk randomly.

I'm... not sure how to feel about this. Particularly since she's quite good at it.

@Wewereseeds@organizing.social I'm up in Seattle myself, though I was born and spent most of my life in Portland.

I miss the food cart pods. Food scene in general. And the generally far more chill environment

Also Guardian Games. Burgerville? Etc. 🤷

@bridge@deadinsi.de does twitter just lock every new account until a phone number is added? I had to make one for a contest thing I signed up for and the same thing happened to me >_>

@venatus eghhh, yeahhhh I've had some really off the wall people try and follow me 😅

thankfully rare though, at least

@DragonessDella@octodon.social don't think you'd get banned over here :blobthinking:

my favorite local coffee shop has a bookshelf full of socialism and anarchism books, and a table with a bunch of similar (+lbgt) hand-outs and pamphlets from local groups for people to take.

it's basically perfect

@lynnesbian this is accurate af

if i had a dollar for every cishet white guy in tech that started out a conversation with me like -

"i am not going to apologize if i seem off putting to you, but you have to understand that im a visionary"

id be able to buy capitalism and destroy it.

@garfiald @anthonydavis i guess the issue with this is that if someone doesn't have the "lens" of experiencing the decline of a large community into a popularity contest then it's hard to see that the costs outweigh the benefits

but, i mean - one look at twitter should be enough to show that account followers is a terrible metric to build a community around

communities should be built on all of their members, not just a few people that everyone likes lol

@sophia@glitterkitten.co.uk that is too perfect :blobmelt:

@Julia@tabletop.social @julia@harpy.life Tabletop Sim is a legit godsend tbh. Gonna blame it for how many games I got taking up room on my shelves now 😅

@sophia@glitterkitten.co.uk gonna give them Santa hats to go with the window painting? 😁

twitter analytics

@SuperCee@plush.city they all just got crummy taste or are ultra shy, clearly 🤷‍♀️

That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it :paw_fx90_thumbs_up:

@Lumb people should just try not being jackasses. it might be difficult at first, but I can promise them it'd be worth it in the long run

selfie, eye contact, etc

@Scarly I do so love those eyes :blobuwu:

@Samburr@snouts.online @a_puma01@snouts.online Chrono music night has more or less officially begun over here as a result of all the links

i have the questionable habit of making minor typos and writing errors in toots that i would never make anywhere else

and every time... i'm like... do i fix it? or... nah...

and then i do it again.

usa culture

it's a shame that so many Americans are so culturally myopic

there's an entire world out there of beauty, experiences, tastes, sounds, and experiences that so many Americans don't even care to begin to imagine

i can't imagine life like that; being both ignorant of the broader world and prideful in that ignorance
