@Earthshine the Portland area most likely, which is something we've tossed around back and forth for years but have held off from up to this point. 🤷

lower cost of living, closer to family for my partner and I, and in general more of our vibe i guess

thinking about not living in the seattle area anymore :blobhyperthink:

(again, but moreso than before)

food

@compufox (specifically in sandwiches imo. i use this for tuna sandwiches mainly and highly recommend it)

food

@compufox soak em in red wine vinegar for 15 minutes and they get even better imo 🤩

@alayna excellent :blobmelt:

i've mostly only listened to their early stuff. i'll need to correct this

@alayna 👀

that's a name I haven't heard in a long while. how's their recent stuff been?

@karina the universal standard operating procedures

@scarly on the bright side, you're able to comfortably wear fashionable coats throughout a larger portion of the year than most other folks? 😅

@SuperCee@plush.city i really wish this wasn't something that i've managed to bump into countless times ;_;

@prin@weirder.earth pretty much the opposite issue over here - fairly new (less than ten year old) building, with insulation so incredible that it's a bit boggling

and yeah, I definitely have infinite appreciation for the fact that the pnw doesn't get too completely crazy in the winter (or summer for that matter tbh) 😬

@prin@weirder.earth honestly my apartment gets hot enough at night year round that we were leaving the window open even during the recent snow 😅
