@Zelli @Scarly SO I'M BIASED, but I think Portland is a more pleasant city? Like it always strikes me as being more chill & laid back, while Seattle is a bit stuffier & more serious business-y

I look at Seattle as being an older, career minded sibling that doesn't see Portland except on Thanksgiving, when she looks down on her scruffy younger sister for being a head-in-the-clouds socialist

They're both great, to be sure, and are basically two of the only cities I'd wanna live in, but... yeah.

It's looking pretty set in stone that @Scarly and I will be moving (back, in my case) to Portland, from Seattle.

The cost of living up here is just too obnoxious, and probably won't be doing anything but getting worse.

We spend a lot of time in Portland and really enjoy the city though, so this isn't really a bad thing per se.

@Zelli it is one hell of a time investment XD

@Zelli pretty well! we just concluded our fourth Gloomhaven scenario, in which we were victorious just as both of our characters became too exhausted to continue fighting 😅
