It's looking pretty set in stone that @Scarly and I will be moving (back, in my case) to Portland, from Seattle.

The cost of living up here is just too obnoxious, and probably won't be doing anything but getting worse.

We spend a lot of time in Portland and really enjoy the city though, so this isn't really a bad thing per se.

well, i was trying to talk in there while taking a bath. this proved unwise. discord, in its infinite wisdom decided that it would be a good idea to take a picture. so, while i fumbled in a panic, the picture was taken. i just turned off the phone to avoid sending.

@Scarly -still- can't look at screens for very long, though she's been able to read for long periods now without any issues

with this in mind we were able to dig out my old Kindle 2, which has an e-ink display and is perfectly comfy on her eyes :blobbun:

recovery is progressing pretty well overall

we cleared the first gloomhaven dungeon of the day with no issues. @Chel entertained us both by shouting increasingly absurd insults at our enemies

in the second dungeon, @Chel jumped out of the starting room while there were still enemies in it, pulled every single enemy in the next room except for 3 and then ran back while screaming. she blocked the doorway and we survived (barely) but wow, that was some work

buns are a little wild, i think?
