getting out of bed is difficult

the dinosaurs upstairs are more active than normal tonight. the stomping is unusually potent and repetitive, and the voices are louder. angrier.

some of the sounds are stranger than normal. I dare not guess as to their origin

once in a great while I'll think about trying to reconnect with some of the folks from my past

generally, almost immediately afterwards, I'll remember why they were left in the past and immediately banish the thought 🤷
