Seeing IRC vs. discord on my fedi while I'm depressed is just making me hateful of discord as a concept all over again.

@DarkWitchClaire Pretty much. It doesn't help that most people seem to want voice chat, while I want anything but, and IRCv3 ratification much less adoption has been a complete trashfire.
