if music was made entirely with FM synthesisers in 1986 is it still a “chip tune?”
@ticky if the waveforms are generated by the chip it should still count
and that's if you don't use the more inclusive definition of anything made within the limitations of a particular soundchip, which would also include pcm-based ones
