xmpp just sucks if you dont have android with conversations and also everyone on xmpp bugs people to go on xmpp
i only use telegram and discord nowadays just because i dont have the spoons to deal with my messages getting randomly deleted cause bouncer broke or xmpp dropped omemo key and i have no history and its like we never knew eachover
@purringChaos we understand that, we just have a lot of problems with discord (including the software itself randomly glitching) and telegram seems too mobile oriented
@DarkWitchClaire@computerfairi.es ya, well we also have fedi pms if that works but thats annoying if you dont have fedi with seporate PMs from messages, irc has no images and just feels weird and setting up bouncer is a pain, id only ever use quassel and i dont want to set that up lol
