here's my quarterly masto check in post

fun events:
- apartment life continues
- my laptop's ssd died
- i managed to recover most of the data but reinstalled windows

that's about it. nothing exciting going on and i never really check in otherwise. my home feed is like two or three people at this point too

@Xkeeper RIP, guessing masto isn't all that popular with the peeps you hang out with anymore?

@BatElite one part never was, one part constantly tired of the endless cross-instance drama/bullshit and stuff like snoots getting taken offline

@Xkeeper It's sad, I know you're not a fan of social media in general but compared to some years ago I wouldn't really recommend masto anymore

I think the drama has worn down and driven away a lot of good people. The default among my friends is basically private only posting anymore.
