Since this statement is based on ideas that are just factually not accurate and indicates extreme hostility to further conversation, there's plainly nothing more for us to do here. We'll be deleting our Wikidot account and no longer recommend this community as a safe haven to anyone, plural or otherwise.

Guess we might as well post this publicly.
We attempted to return to our old friends on the SCP Wiki last night, to whom we had not talked in about a year. Instead, we got snipped at for referring to ourselves in the plural, and told that it was "extremely disruptive"; further events we uncovered thereafter indicated that this community is just really hostile to pluralfolk and effectively has "no plurals allowed" as a de-facto community policy.

people really genuinely misunderstand autism. its not a disease, and its not a malfunction. its just peoples brains being structured differently. they can perceive just as much as everyone else; we just interpret the input differently, or have a hard time understanding the input. because of this, you cannot separate someone from their autism, because the autism IS how we UNDERSTAND the world. you would have to alter someones comprehension, which would completely alter the person. which means, you cannot separate an autistic person from their autism. autism is just describing HOW our brains work.

LGBT scenes circa 2011: Use 'they' UNTIL you know what someone's pronouns are, either by asking them directly in private or by talking to their savvy friend about it. Give your own pronouns with introductions. Don't out people or pressure them to divulge pronouns where that might out them. Correct yourself if you use the wrong pronoun.

cishet liberals: call people by the pronouns that go with what kinda junk I think they have unless I don't know them and I've clocked them as a trans woman, then use "they" and ask for specifically their pronouns in public in front of other people who may not have clocked them.
