The decision on the participation of Russians and Belarusians in the Olympics in Paris will be made no earlier than a year before its start - IOC President Thomas Bach.

34 countries called on the IOC to continue its ban on Russia/ Belarus, including the 2024 Olympic Games doubting their athlets state as "'neutral' when they are directly funded by their states, considering the strong links and affiliations between athletes and the military."
