I'm still seeing "I'm neurodivers" a lot, especially with Germans. Here is a short explanation.
A group can be divers. Like people or populations of animals or all living things on the planet (biodiversity).
One person/cat/plant/... can be divergent, when it is, in some way, different from a given (constructed) norm. It's not like the others.

Humans / a class of students are neurodivers. Their brains work differently, they perceive, think, move, process in different ways. This is just how humans are.
Autistics (and others) are neurodivergent. Their brain is different from what humans deem "normal".
However, I'm not trying to police labels here. I just think some might not know how these words work. If you prefer "neurodivers" I'm not going to correct you or something. It's your brain
