Reading from and writing to the human brain directly, like with a hard disk. In 2012 the reading speed was about 8 bits/minute.
There seems to be an DIY open source #BCI (brain computer interface) scene.

@a_breakin_glass They didn't say. Just that today you can control a driving car directly via brain-interface.
They predicted that in 25 years we will be able to communicate (like texting or with text-to-speech) just by thinking it.
I don't know where this leaves us in terms of I/O speed today 👾
Oh and the read/write speed is apparently doubling every 15 months (Moore's law?).
