@TQ@octodon.social Ja, braucht bisschen Reinwühlen, ich muss auch immer mal wieder Zeug nachschlagen. Vorteil von gitlab ggü github ist, dass man auch private repositories for free hat. Und wenn man mit mehreren Leuten an nem Projekt arbeitet, lässt sich das da auf der Oberfläche gut verwalten.
@TQ@octodon.social Kann übrigens gitlab.com nur empfehlen. Kommt 1 auch mit klar, wenn das ganze Terminalgedöns noch nicht so sitzt.

@TQ@octodon.social Ich wär vielleicht auch dabei, wenn es ok ist, dass ich schon programmieren kann und nur interessiert wär ne neue Sprache zu lernen und vor allem nach dem Uni-Stress wieder Spaß dran zu finden. Würde also erstmal beobachten, worauf ihr euch so festlegt und kann dann ja vielleicht auch hier und da weiterhelfen.

@maunzikation uaaah, ich hasse das auch so. Ich kann auch einfach garnicht mehr denken, sobald jemand guckt was ich tippe. Weil das sind ja unvollständige Gedanken und ich muss sie tippen, dann lesen, dann nochmal denken, dann 10 Mal korrigieren. Wie soll ich so sichtbar denken, wenn jemand zuguckt? //o\\ Versteh voll wie stressig das ist.
I will now make one last addition to my thesis (need to write some additional code first).
Then I only need to make some corrections, clean up the formatting (yay LaTeX) aaaaaand then!!!
Friday it will be printed and sent ont its way.
2 weeks later I need to present it to some teachers via videoconference. So there will be slides to do and anxiety to deal with.
But this is almost over and I survived!

Still, as of now, individual users are responsible for making this service accessible to them, because the default is one that is hard or impossible to read for many people, and there is no built-in way to change these things. There is talk about all of this on Github, so I am hopeful. But really, right now, this is… not a good situation.

To sum up the replies (thank you so much, everyone!), so far no instance recommendations, but:
Tusky (Android client) has a light theme and uses Android's font size settings (thanks @frankiesaxx @Amaury @Jules)
You can meter my stress level by counting the length of my sentences multiplied by the number of missing punctuation marks.
I just figured out that this rule does not only apply to social media but in general and omg everything makes so much sense now.
I love LaTeX so much.
I need to present my thesis soon and for that I have to make slides and this would be too much work for me to handle rn.
But thank the holy fairy-tree for LaTeX. I will just copy & paste all the interesting things right out of my thesis and throw it into a beamer class document and it will be fine.
I want to sleep for 2 months now but I still have things to do the next few weeks. #chaotic (this is my personal thesis tag)
