I'm Jules, 30+x years, computer scientist who just started another program at a new university. So lots of #uni stuff at the moment.

I am an #actuallyautistic #queer #ace #enby #trans #disabled person with #ptsd and other #neurodivergent and #disabled features who gets overwhelmed by all those tags and labels but they are still here for a reason right?

I love #crypto and #hacking and #wool and my #dog and of course #cats of all sizes.

Okay seems like I have to go back to doing Java things because I decided to take on another module on medical image processing (it is completely via the interweb so yay no leaving the house). The assignments require Java stuff because some framework thing called Conrad?

Good news I found a lab partner. I only know his name and omg I am sure I will not recognize him next time. Hope he is better at this humaning thing.

Love how the lecture person talks about middleperson attack instead of MITM (man in the middle) attack.

It's not that they would be able to just turn around and comeback becase someone called their name ^^

When someone is abducted in tv shows and another person is watching, they always call the name of the abducted person, often multiple times.

Why?? I don't get it.

Humans / a class of students are neurodivers. Their brains work differently, they perceive, think, move, process in different ways. This is just how humans are.

Autistics (and others) are neurodivergent. Their brain is different from what humans deem "normal".

However, I'm not trying to police labels here. I just think some might not know how these words work. If you prefer "neurodivers" I'm not going to correct you or something. It's your brain
