At least today, the room is not only filled with white dudes that all look the same.
It is possible that I am in the right room again. But there are humans playing hangman on the blackboard and everyone seems to know each other.
I don't like it but hope to see a nice guest lecture about pentesting soon.

I just dropped all the super boring lectures. Why the hell did I think I needed to force myself to do more applied stuff? That's just not meeee!

I ended up sitting in a nice quiet place surrounded by books. Not so useless trip after all.

I just drove 1 hour to listen to basic orga info for 15 minutes and now he sent us home. This is ridiculous. It was supposed to be a 2 hour lab m)

Hey so, there's been a bit of a kerfuffle with Patreon lately after a terms of service change that threatens all sex workers
There's now an open letter to Patreon to please not do that http://www.openlettertopatreon.com/
The idea of folks losing their livelihood overnight for reasons I cannot see as justified is terrifying, and there's no Patreon alternative either.

Building your programming ability? Open "secret" about tech industry: programmers only productive about 3-4 hours/day & fake the rest. No need to sit 8 hours.
So don't burn yourself out! Maybe lie down & visualize, before coding tiny pieces. Understand a single thing in many ways; creates strong bricks as foundation of your knowledge. With stronger bricks, the faster you will be.
Maybe first write down a few different ways of doing something; list advantages & disadvantages of each. "Analyze tradeoffs."
Code's often a poor representation of thought, a thin brittle artifact that executes.
