fediverse, when you play rock-paper-scissors (or whatever alternate name), should the players throw their signs on a count of three (on "scissors!") or on a count of four (on "shoot!")?

@LaserScheme Personally an 'on 3'/'scissors!' person myself, but I've seen it both ways, for sure.
@LaserScheme imo if you’re saying “one, two, three!” it should be on “three” but if you’re saying “Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!” it should be on “shoot!”
when i learned the game in childhood the order was "paper, scissors, rock" and you threw your sign on the third count, rock
