I'm gonna be buying my first car in the near future, most likely a used one. The prospect is a little intimidating for me, so any general advice would be appreciated
@MiseryMyra imho carmax is the way to go for used cars if you live near one, my experience with them was pretty bullshit-free since i had a vague idea of what i wanted anyway
i really recommend making sure you can handle the financing through your bank if possible because the interest rates you'd otherwise get from the dealership tend to be garbage
@MiseryMyra from what I understand it's vitally important to kick the tyres a bit
more usefully, if you know anyone even slightly car inclined, bring them with you to have a once over, you could also hire a mechanic to take a look at it before you buy it
