@revenant It's pretty nice. It's got remappable controls, auto-explore, much more effective searching, warnings for doing obviously bad things, easily customized autopickup, a more helpful interface, etc. It also has some rebalancing that makes suddenly facing an unavoidable death much less common, especially in the early game. There's some more info on it here: https://nethackwiki.com/wiki/FIQHack
In light of this, I have been playing FIQHack, which is a NetHack variant with some quality-of-life features that make it significantly less tedious to actually play
@squirrel_ebooks I'm glad to see my work is popular with robots
Here are the cats I'm pet sitting. Their names are Jimmy and Tofu, respectively

@Raspberryfloof I like it a lot! It has a nice jazzy flavor to it
I was playing with the cats using some of the toys that the owners left, and I wound up liking one of the toys more than the cats did. It's basically a Chinese finger trap made with finely woven plastic. It's very springy, and it seems like a good stim toy. They're apparently called Kitty Fun Tubesโข
@squirrel The forbidden elixir
When I was walking home to my apartment, there was a tiny beagle puppy who was very excitedly running around in circles and tugging at their leash to try and run over to me. It was adorable, and I am honored that a dog who saw me for less than a minute was truly excited to see me and wanted to meet me
@Raspberryfloof I think you're a lot better than you give yourself credit for!
