Sandopolis Zone, or: Hey lets make a slow paced desert themed zone in a sonic game which is full of pitfalls and precision timed jumps and tiny platforms to ride on and enemies out of nowhere, and now let's make the SECOND act of this zone rely on rapidly getting through short segments before a door closes AND with ghosts that show up to kill you infinitely if it gets too dark! :D
....oh and let's have arguably the worst music in a sonic game on the megadrive ever. yeah that'll work.
