But for some reason I really feel like an open world wrestling brawler game would be a ton of fun especially if it was JUST ENOUGH deliberately silly? (and if you could wrestle everything and everyone)

@Nine mostly unrelated,I dunno if you knew this, but the 1st PSP spinoff yakuza game (Kurohyou: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinshou) was made by Syn Sophia FKA AKI as in The Wrestling Game Company. as in we almost had a (more overtly) wrestling themed yakuza game

@Nine theres still some residual wrestle-stuff. like, the protagonist is a boxer and its made in the same engine as Def Jam Fight for New York (yes, really) but just imagine.
