@rey tbf i am in england where what passes for hotdogs are floppy, mushy pork vaguely-sausage-impersonating tubes. Until very recently I was of the opinion as such that hotdogs are trash and they should just use REAL, 100% pork, thick butchers SAUSAGES, rather than "hotdogs". Until I tried what was a real hotodg, which I think I only disliked because the ketchup really did just... make it kinda meh.
