All three followed different storylines but with mostly the same characters and elements

Also all 3 series were called "RockMan.EXE" in Japan

The anime actually had 4 or 5 seasons (though only the first 2 were dubbed) -- season 2 = Axess, season 3 = Stream, season 4 = Beast, season 5 = Beast+

so basically wily is resentful and keeps trying to bring down the cyberworld while tadashi's grandson tries to stop him

but then it gets weird, like, "what if autonomous programs came into existence without being created by humans" and "what if aliens sent a rocket with an advanced OS toward earth"
