It exists in a quantum superposition state of both in stock and out of stock but so far most of the times they've observed it and thus temporarily "fixed" it's state, it's been in stock

Honestly though how long before they start listing stock levels as "common, uncommon, rare, ultra rare, legendary, unique" like trading cards or mmo loot
