fuck i just got thinking about BLUE REVOLVER again and A) its amazing soundtrakc, and B) just how goddamn cool the idea of the world setting is (Magic works like programming code, except it's literlaly rewriting the "code" for reality, and can create "junk data" or glitches in reality if this "code" isn't well formed enough which can build up and create anomalies, and the group BLUE REVOLVER is exceptionally well known as v. capable Engineers who go around fixing these glitches)...
@Nine Is this a video game, or a movie, or a tv series?
@Rosemary it's a videogame, a shootemup specifically! Very bullet curtain styled, (like touhou project games), but with a dynamic difficulty mechanic.It's on Steam, itch.io and Humble Bundle, plus it works on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux natively apparently.
@Nine Hmm, the setting sounds interesting but I'm not sure how much we'd like it. Shooters aren't our style, generally.
@Rosemary nah that's totally fine, to be honest I don't play it much because i suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck at shmups. like, I'm super, super bad, and even on the game's easiest setting it's punishingly difficult for me ;w;
and also C)
one of the main characters is a cute as a button robot-bunny eared gal with glowing eyes who is implied to be a sentient and very alive glitch in reality who BLUE REVOLVER are investigating (by means of shooting bullets everywhere in her direction... which of course she replies in kind)
