Hi, English person here. Some of our newspapers suck honestly, and I’ve seen people use them as sources uncritically, so...

‘The Daily Mail’
Right wing, very trashy. Take with a truck load of salt. Actually just don’t take it, it’s the U.K. version of Fox News.

‘The Telegraph’
Highest number or upheld complaints for inaccuracy. Right wing pro conservative.

‘The Sun’
Trashy. Boobs everywhere. Just don’t.

I think the Daily Mail is actually owned by Rupert Murdoch' via News Corp as well, so yeah it very literally is the UK newspaper version of Fox News.

@Nine @Doggo ...or maybe fox news is the US tv version of the daily mail, given that the mail has been around long enough to have stumped for the fascists the _last_ time they were really ascendant in a global kinda way.

@brennen @Doggo Yep, wholly accurate there too. Though given that this list is more for non UK people they'd be more familiar with fox news and its type of bs so the comparison still works either way
