shoutouts to that time I was playing Dragonball Xenoverse and made a female human and her backstory in my head was that in her timeline and universe Goku never made it to earth, and so nobody was around to stop Pilaf, or the Red Ribbon Army, and the world suffered under their rule.

Until my character gave up nearly everything to summon the dragon balls and made a wish that she could be strong enough to give her world a chance to fight back...

Whereupon she was the Goku of her reality.
