SOME Nightcore producers do change it slightly.

Read, layer some synths on top to make it fit better with the genre of EDM.

Still would be copyright infringment, though.

@tidsguiden yeah I just looked it up, apparently when it first started it was more than just speeding and pitchshifting the track up, but in the big 2010 popularity wave everyone just did the bare minimum effort and put them up as "remixes" leading to a massive glut of what is basically the internet equivalent of holding fastforward and play on a tape player as a kid.
