@Red@witches.live the dwarves in the hobbit are a bunch of arseholes too, let's be real they are all only alive because of Bilbo for the most part. except that one time that gandalf told them not to steal the horses of the incredibly powerful werebear in the forest who literally had just given them safety and shelter and food and drink out of hospitality when he had every right to just leave em to die.
