I'm linking this because A) this is basically all the evidence one would need to know the 90s were a hellpit of awfulness, and B) ... honestly that's about all the reason for it. aside from maybe going "oh hey that's a game I remember"

Also a whole bunch of its adverts are particularly bad, design, language etc, and also they really did not age well at all. Granted it's the 90s so pretty much every game ad was terrible as hell.
