*puts 16gb sd card into reader, puts reader into computer, tries to copy over 4.5 gig file*
"THIS FILE IS TOO BIG FOR THE DESTINATION"
*...double checks sd card free space, showing like, 15 gig spare, tries again*
"FILE TOO LORG GET BIGGER STORAGE"
"windows what the shit why aren't you paying attention to the filesizes and how big this sd card is what the fuck"
"TOO LARGE, GET BIGGER SD CARD"
"IT'S FOUR TIMES BIGGER THAN THE FILE YOU FUCK"
"NO IT'S NOT LALALALA CAN'T HEAR YOU"
@pup_hime ... as it turns out yes. i'mmmm gonna guess that's the cause huh .-.;
@Nine the max-- what emi said
@Nine fat32 has a filesize limit right?
@Nine If it's formated in FAT32 then the max file size is like 4GB, so you need to reformat it to exfat or NTFS or whatever, depending on if the target device actually supports non-FAT32 cards
@MochiWaifu heck I really hope the tv does c_c;
@Nine @MochiWaifu its probably fine with NTFS
@Nine
If it's formatted FAT32 it can't have files bigger than 4GB. Maybe backup everything on it and reformat the SD to NTFS?
@Nine well I was about to say "are you sure it's not a counterfeit card that claims a larger capacity than it actually has" but other people seem to have better answers
@Nine
Windows:*squints at a file*
Windows: I’m sure this is the size of an elephant somehow.
@Doggo Windows: "Time to read how big this file size is. ... uh... *squints at numbers*... uh...
...1... 2... 3... 4... what comes after 4...?.. Oh! Oh right. it goes 1 , 2 , 3, 4, TOO MANY. cool."
@Nine is it formatted in FAT32
