not because it's "more human" but because ... somoene, or maybe the robot themselves, programmed those things to express emotions in a visual way. because they wanted to. not because of any functional need. sure maybe it was because "it's more relatable to humanity" but you all fuckin know that if a human did it, it was because "aaah look the robot is smiling aaaa im love <3 <3 <3"
