@pup_hime yeah. I mean the engine is great at least... but as for unreal tourney I think basically... that's a dead game at this point. I think maybe people aren't into the normal team deathmatchy style gameplay these days.

@Nine uhh epic killed it in favor of fortnite before it was done so

@Nine like it was going fine but then fortnite blew up and epic was like "that other thing we were doing? forget that"

@pup_hime Yeah though I'm pretty sure the team deathmatch core gameplay loop was already dying off then anyway in favour of more objective based gameplay (capture point, CTF to a lesser degree, territory control/KOTH etc) so to be fair, aside from issues they were having with actually getting staff to work on it (very small team apparently, and they had to get stuff from the community to complete work on the game), they probably felt it would never do that well anyway even if it was free.
