Thing you might not know: "aspirin" isn't actually a generic name, burmt the original Bayer brand name; however after WW1 the international trademark was revoked as part of reparations.
Bayer still hold the trademark in Germany, where generics instead go by the actual generic name "Acetylsalicylsäure", or ASS.
