Okay so yeah exit polls usually tend to be fairly accurate here in the UK, or at least have the last two times, but they're not the end all and be all.

Results will be in tomorrow morning here in the UK most likely, and exit polls seem to just be "hey who did you vote for?" "Oh I voted for X!" sort of counts. They're not necessarily what the results will be.

ALSO: apparently these exit polls are from just 144 polling stations and of only about 20k people, from all over THE ENTIRE UK AND NI.

Which is a ridiculously small sample size.

@Nine You think they might be polling very conservative places, knowingly or not?

@BatElite to be honest I suspect the main people who would be willing to talk to the ipsos people will be older folks anyway, younger people will likely not want to say who they voted for either

re: UK pol, tempering of despair hopefully

@Nine they are apparently only picking potential swing areas to try get a more accurate view

re: UK pol, tempering of despair hopefully

@LottieVixen there's also about 65 seats or so that aren't in those exit polls because they're "too close to call" I heard? There's some VERY creative interpretation of the results at least
