@batterpunts what is electricity?
we just don't know.
@Nine magnets tho? simple
@batterpunts oh yeah everyone knows how magnets work
@Nine the north pole's connected to the, south pole
the south pole's connected to the, north pole
@batterpunts aw crap now we're never getting those apart.
@Nine unlike bones
@Nine genius
@batterpunts as a bonus you will never drop the spoon you're using to eat soup in the bowl
@Nine i just went to the kitchen and found out some of my utensils are non magnetic
@batterpunts D: D: D: D:
THE HELL OF NON FERROUS UTENSILS
@batterpunts realtalk though we have an induction hob on our cooker and we require magnetic pans to go on it for it to work so we had this REALLY, REALLY NICE big frying pan that we loved to use and then we found out that like... it wasn't magnetic.
... ;; I mean we have other pans that are good but that oen was.. like... really really good
@Nine induction sounds great
@batterpunts it's super friggin weird tbqh, but it's rad as hell. you can turn the hob on full blast, and then just... lay your hand flat on the hob, and it'll be like... maybe slightly warm??? even if it's been on for a while with nothing on it!
Put a magnetic pan on it, BAM, instant heat. Stuff will start boiling REAL fast on it at full heat. It... does kinda scream at you tho on some heats... which is... somewhat distressing and uncomfortable.
@Nine microwaves: pls do not put metal things in me
induction hob: HEAT THAT SHIT OUT IN THE OPENNN BABEYY
@batterpunts to be fair the induction hobs are using magnetic induction to excite the molecules in the food in the pans, which the nheats the pan as well as a consequence, as opposed to other hobs which heat the pan, which THEN heats the food.
whereas a microwave oven blasts EVERYTHING inside with radiation constantly and doesn't care how hot or not it is it just cares about the timer running out or not XD
@Nine but induction makes the magenetic pans hot, so that's how food heats
@batterpunts brb supercharging and using a contactless card system to cook omelettes in stores
@Nine damn yes, it shoul dbe relatively easy to instantly fry every card that's swided on it
