Finished the first Ace Attorney game (the 3DS remake)! That bonus mission sure is something, huh

and I always appreciate a video game that lets you do sth cool during its credits

@noiob I went into Phoenix Wright 1 not expecting much, though had a good time throughout the entire game.

then that bonus mission HOOOLEEE FUUUUUUUUUCK it was gripping.

@Nine ngl, the start of it really annoyed the shit out of me, the cop with the megaphone feedback noise nearly made me shut the game off

@noiob @Nine I really dislike playing this episode. The story is nice but I feel like it's the hardest mission in the entire series, it's really long and the logic is really obtuse at some points, I couldn't have done it without a walkthrough

@Siphonay @noiob ah yeah that's fair, and ... definitely same. I had to start using a walkthrough earlier on in the game too. and... never really stopped ._.; the resolution to the story, the twist, the villain reveal and everything though, pretty solid gold.

@Nine @noiob on a side note, I really liked the anime (I rarely ever like animes) because instead of trying to strictly adapt the events of the games, it omits some of them and shows new ones instead, which almost never conflict with the game

So it's a delight to watch as a fan of the games seeing how complimentary they are! And the original anime stories are great too, they add tons of stuff to the lore and make the characters even more human

@Siphonay @noiob Oh dang I was expecting just like, a complete redo of the original cases but if there are NEW cases?? Damn I've actually gotta check this out!

@Nine @noiob there are a few stories that are not actually cases, and one new case yeah

@Siphonay @noiob extra lore and extra characterisation and stories outside the courtroom = all good stuff too. :o

@Nine @Siphonay yeah, I used a walkthrough too, at times, it's not like it makes me enjoy the game less
