oh holy crap.

so I found a really old winamp or something playlist on my pc that I hadn't looked at in apprently years and looked at the songs in it (a lot of them were just the song title in C:\music\ which is a folder that does not exist now on this pc, or... hasn't existed on any of my PCs in literally two decades now almost) and found the names of a bunch of tracks I had forgotten entirely.

Obviously I don';t have the music files any more, I downloaded them back when mp3.com was ... well, basically what Soundcloud is now, but for the early 2000s.

But having the names really helped me find the tracks and... someone's uploaded several of them to youtube.

So if anybody was wondering what early 2000s Ren was listening to, it was...

...well pretty eclectic too, but despite never getting on a skateboard in my LIFE, I apparently liked very skaterish music.

here's a couple of links of Punchline tracks from Major Motion Picture, their 2001 album.

Some years later, they released Stop,

which I still have because damn it's actually a good song and they clearly improved.

Gonna be looking through a fair bit of this playlist now for other nuggets of nostalgia and curiousity. :o

dang there's a fair bit of Blink 182 in here too.

...and... Nirvana??

Smashing Pumpkins? Dang.

... glad to know even back then I at least loved the Wipeout 2097 ost tho :D

Ohhh, I think I know why I had Dive by Nirvana on this playlist. It's very Road Rash Jailbreak/3d sorta styled music and I played a lot of those around that time.
