windows 10: "Yeah I can connect to a wireless TV that's fine, oh hey! I even see the TV you want to connect to! We can try it if you like? But we gotta check with the graphics card first to see if it's okay."
Graphics card: "Huh? oh right lemmie check... Oh! Yeah yeah I can do that! I'm fully compatible! TV! You down?"
TV: "fuck yeah I'm down, I got this miracast shit built in! Let's DO this!"
W10: "okay, connecting!"
TV: "yaaah! I see it! Let's connect!"
?????: "lol no"
TV, W10, Me: D: ???
@Nine the tv or windows may need a firmware update or there may be interference from another electronic like a wireless video game console or wireless keyboard or something
@Troasta ...*looks at the wireless keyboard* ...oh god it cannot literally be that simple can it...
@Nine it may or may not be depending on what kind of signal the keyboard is using
@Troasta Well, bluetooth, with its own bluetooth adapter... there's a wifi dongle next to it tho, but that connects fine it seems?
Seriosuly, windows 10 and the TV both see each other, I click "connect to wireless tv" on the PC, the TV gets the signal, tries completing the connection, then for SOME UNKNOWN REASON that windows will not fucking tell me beyond "something went wrong", it refuses. By all accounts, the graphics card fully supports Miracast/HDMI over Wifi, so it should work, they're both connected via wifi, I don't fucking get this what the shit. why isn't it working aaaa
