So I have Veronica following me around, of course as I am wandering around trying to get to this quest marker, when outta nowhere, a single solitary Legion Assassin comes up behind me and is like
"THE CAESAR HAS MARKED YOU FOR DEATH, AND THE LEGION OBEYS!"
Which swings my view around to face him.
He is on his own.

Something about that kill was just... friggin glorious, I dunno why. I know it's not intentional but Veronica just sounded so friggin sarcy like, the legion assassin just utterly ignored she was there, got in front of her to threaten the Courier, and she just like "...welp. *DOINK* " and he gets stunned by it, then shot in the face as he's recoiling, going arse over tit, and his head rolls away. like, fuckin' lol, get owned, fash.

I love dunking on the legion in this game they're just so absolutely deserving of it. I mean sure you COULD work for them...
but like... who the fuck would CHOOSE to honestly?? Who would look at the Legion and its ideals and go "yeah okay I wanna work for a bunch of misogynistic patriarchal incel LARPers with a boner for colonialism and imperialism" oh wait think I answered my own question huh.

killing a lot of people, joining the legion
killing the legion but getting away with it because caeser likes me in that save

@joshua looool, I love the concept of being like, horrifically deadly to the legion itself but because Caesar is a complete knobstick and thinks you're the best thing since that time he TOTALLY destroyed that essjaydubbleyew in rational debate and didn't get owned in front of everyone, so he lets you get away with it. XD

@Nine i have a save where i have 100 melee and 100 stealth, 6 stealth boys, and a plethora of drugs
this save is right outside caeser's tent
i had snuck into the camp and picked off the legion one by one
until i got to caeser, where i tried to chainsaw him in one go
it finally took two
but i did it
mfer is hard

@Nine first time i play new vegas, i went around a backways to get to nipton
i came around to vulpa's encampment from behind- i didnt know who they were at the time, but i decided to set off explosive regardless
i blew the legions encampment off the map lmao
