ive opted to no longer entertain housemates' stupid "opinions"

im not gonna pretend someones opinion on ancient aliens, chemtrails, or w/e is just as valid about my opinion on the protests in portland

in the insufferable words of my mother:

dont like it? too bad!

like, not to sht on this one housemate (separate from ancient aliens roommate)

but this one housemate thought the milky way was similar to the comet

as in, "when is the milky way going to leave? can you still see it?"

im not kidding you

i think i experienced whiplash because my neck has been hurting ever since

this speific housemate, altho very weird and kind of dense, does NOT strike me as the person who would ever think the milky way would be a missed sight like the comet

"yea, the milky way is gonna 'set' in like 250,000,000 years"

"the milky way will leave our nightskies in 4.5 billion years when the andromeda galaxy collides with the milky way"

im Aware of the candy bar, stop doing their marketing for them
