the state machine for my printer:

[Power on] -> Ready

Ready -> [Print] -> Printing
Printing -> [Job Done] -> Ready

Ready -> [15 minutes] -> Sleep

(Any) -> ['Go' button] -> Pause
Pause -> ['Go' button] -> (Resume)

note it will only print in Ready mode. and it is incapable of going from Sleep mode to any other mode other than Pause mode, which, when resumed, resumes back into Sleep mode. so the only way to print anything is within the first 15 minutes after you plugged it in

@jk what does pausing sleep even mean?

Waking up, taking a glass of water, going to the toilet, then back to bed?

@zatnosk @jk what if you literally paused sleep
like, hit the pause button

and then like you're just frozen in place while youtube.com/watch?v=JRPXRHS4XN
