FONV: GOING TO SPACE EDITION (FONV Quest Mod Reviews 3)

Okay, so, the House was... glorious, and also wonderfully silly with its secret quest. I missed one of them but... ah well. Still a LOT of fun.

Now I'm onto Boom to the Moon which so far has been an ABSOLUTE JOY to play. The first quest is genuinely really fascinating, and very well done, though... make a save immediately before you fuel the rocket for your first trip, lol. It might uh... explode.

(that's not a glitch, there's literally a 10% chance of it just exploding and killing you rofl, it's pretty funny actually)

Either way, the key NPC in this mod, Anaximander, is an absolute sweetie and I just want to hug him lots. Plus he has some cool looking tattoos.

The voice acting so far is really stellar, and... god it's really well written.

The author put in a bunch of failsafes if things go wonky, (read the mod desc) super nice.

Basically when you get back from the moon (yep you go to the moon!) the "ending" you get for the FIRST quest is dependent upon your dialogue choices, but for some reason you don't get the choice for the good ending even if you do everything right. Luckily there's a failsafe to work around the bug, AND a hard save immediately after you return to earth so you can do it. Very well put together mod!

Oh dang why didn't i enable dev commentary on this mod sooner? Jokerine has really clearly put a LOT of love and work into this mod, it's absolutely stellar....

...okay that pun was entirely unintentional but I'm leaving it in there lol.

Sure, it's buggy as fuck, but, c'mon, it's the Gamebryo engine that's just the default, really, and the fact that this mod does SO MUCH unique stuff, it's a wonder it doesn't regularly CTD.
